In response to feedback from colleagues, Durham University has brought together information on how staff who experience adverse attention in relation to their work will be supported. While such situations are thankfully uncommon, they can be deeply distressing for those involved. When they do occur, we respond swiftly, appropriately, and robustly.
The Adverse Attention Support Framework outlines the support available, the steps you can take, and how the University will work with you to safeguard your wellbeing. Your safety, security, and welfare remain our priority.
Colleagues are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Adverse Attention Support Framework, should they ever need to draw upon it.
