If you are in immediate danger or are seriously injured, you can call 999 (or 112 from a mobile). If you’re in an emergency situation and need police help, but can’t speak call 999 wait for the operator then press 55 the operator will then transfer the call to the relevant police force as an emergency. For non-emergency calls, dial 101.

The online e-learning course, “Equality, Diversity and Inclusion” is available on DUO at https://duo.dur.ac.uk under the “My Organisations & Online Training” section of the homepage. The course is open to all students and staff and is designed to raise awareness of key aspects of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. It is delivered as a series of Chapters which students/staff can work through at their own pace and convenience. All students and staff are encouraged to undertake the training.
